Arktan Customer USA Network’s “Character Chatter” Featured in Ad Age

Ad Age ran informative post on Social TV that gives an insight into what is Social TV and what are some of the key trends in the Social TV space.

One of the trends highlighted by the article is that “more and more networks are building their own social destinations.”

The article then goes onto showcase the growth that USA Network’s “Character Chatter” has witnessed over the last few months. According to USA Network VP-Digital, Jesse Redniss, more than more than 300,000 unique visitors came to its “Character Chatter” platform – at – this summer to discuss USA Network shows including “Burn Notice” and “Psych.”

When USA Network broadcast a “Burn Notice” marathon and ran “Character Chatter” posts on an on-screen crawl, Jesse Redniss quoted in the article said that “[t]hat was a big “a-ha” moment for us because we saw 35,000 concurrent users logging onto the system. It was really cool to watch.”

We would like to congratulate the USA Network team on their impressive run. For us at Arktan it is very satisfying to witness the growth of the “Character Chatter” platform.
