We would like to congratulate the Beat The GMAT team for such a successful launch and for their amazing work in coming out with this ground breaking product!
TechCrunch did a post on the launch of MBA Watch today. Here is an excerpt from that post:
“MBA Watch pulls together all the information about business schools and applicants in one place. MBA hopefuls can follow different schools like Harvard, Stanford, or Wharton (the site launches with 20 top business schools today.) It creates the equivalent of a Facebook Wall for each school, pulling in official blog posts, Facebook Fan page updates, and Tweets about the school. You can toggle the stream between official sources and everyone talking about the school.”
This is a great illustration of the use of “Arktan Universal Wall.” In this case it is used by MBA Watch to bring real-time curated Social Media content and conversation related to MBA schools, and allowing users to interact with it by liking, commenting and sharing.
We have been amazed by how rapidly Beat The GMAT was able to curate real-time Social Media for over 20 MBA schools using Arktan Dashboard, and take it into production!
In addition to all this, MBA Watch allows users to “follow” MBA schools on their personal profiles on the site. David Park, CEO of Beat The GMAT, told us that he has seen a huge surge in registrations on the site as a result of MBA Watch.
MBA Watch demonstrates how Arktan’s products, and the ecosystem of products that Arktan is part of, can be used as a platform to power sites that build social networks.
