Shark Week is held annually. Shark Week was developed to help the average person have a greater respect for sharks. This week is the The 2011 Shark Week. Discovery has been using Arktan Social Chat to enable Shark Week audience to engage in real-time conversations during the Shark Week. Social Chat Stream is provided on the Cam page that brings in a live feed of the “Ocean Voyager” exhibit from the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Georgia. Viewers can tune in for daily whale shark feedings, and engage with other viewers in real-time using Social Chat as they do that! They can also chat in real-time with the divers and post their questions either on the site or on Twitter.
