The Hollywood Reporter Features Arktan?s Partnership with Discovery Communications

Arktan enjoyed major publicity just before Christmas, when The Hollywood Reporter wrote an article featuring our partnership with Discovery Communications.

The article highlighted Arktan’s role as an innovative provider of Social TV and second-screen experiences for some of Discovery Communications’ most popular shows, most notably the ‘Cake Boss,’ and the company’s and sites.

Kelly Day, Executive VP and GM, Digital Media and Commerce, talked about the benefits of providing these experiences by saying that “[t]he social destinations for each episode on and on other Discovery sites, such as, have allowed us to extend the discussions with and among our fans and ultimately broaden exposure for our brands, programs and platforms.”

Arktan’s role of bringing the second screen experiences for other brands and websites was mentioned as well, listing as examples ‘The X Factor USA’ and ‘Dancing With the Stars’ TV shows; ABC, and NBC Networks; The Washington Post and Newsweek Magazine media companies; and the Universal Music Group.

Arktan has enjoyed some great new publicity since the publication of The Hollywood Reporter article, and we are looking forward to a very exciting 2012!
