Introducing Bryta Schulz, new VP of Marketing

Here comes 2017!!! And boy are we going to have some fun!! Hey, Identity industry!!!! Are you ready for some big disruption?

Back in 2002 when Larry Drebes and a few Janrain engineers authored the OpenID specification, it was a pivotal inflection point. That being said, they couldn’t have envisioned the inflection point that, once again, we’re creating today at Janrain!!!

As we near the end of 2016, it’s always a natural time to reflect and take inventory of what we have accomplished, where we missed and what we have coming up in the new year. After a fair amount of analysis, I can easily say that I’m even more excited about the potential of the identity industry and our opportunities as a company than I could have imagined back when I joined in April. We have a ton of exciting announcements in the coming months, with an exciting piece of news starting today!

As we further enhance our executive team to prepare for massive growth, I’m proud to announce that Bryta Schulz has joined our team as our Vice President of Marketing.

Bryta has more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector, leading marketing teams and global initiatives at a number of top technology companies including Xerox, RSA, Symantec and Thales. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Vindicia (since acquired by Amdocs), where she was a key member of the management team, successfully driving rapid growth of the sales pipeline and spearheading the company’s global expansion.

Bryta joins us at a critical time, as we prepare for a tremendous growth phase fueled by the advancements being made in cloud computing, analytics and the Internet of Things (IoT).

"This is a very exciting time for Janrain," said Schulz. "Companies are starting to realize if you don’t get identity right, you’ll get your marketing wrong, and nobody has time for such grave missteps."

With her long history of helping innovative companies soar, Bryta is the ideal executive to take us and our clients to the next level. She will be a critical contributor to our success and I’m thrilled to welcome her to the Janrain family.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
