Janrain Enables B2B Marketers to Tap into a Corporate User Base with Salesforce.com Logins May 3, 2011 by Katie Keenan b2b, identity provider, social login With over 92,300 organizations, salesforce.com is one of the world’s most popular CRM solutions. As of this week, Janrain Engage supports Salesforce.com as a social login provider for your websites and mobile apps. Why is this important? It is important because it opens up a whole new world for B2B marketers who can now tap into salesforce.com’s extensive user base and gain access to their professional profile data. This rich data set includes a user’s first and last names, verified corporate email address, their organization ID, profile photo, language and locale. Salesforce.com is one of the few large providers that return a verified corporate email address. White paper sign ups, conference registrations and filling out product lead forms just got a whole lot easier both for the marketer and their prospects. Marketers get accurate data and the prospect experiences a faster sign up process. This also opens up other interesting use cases such as expense report applications, sales commissions management, payroll & benefits management, and subscription billing to name a few. Adding support for Salesforce.com via Janrain Engage is a simple process. If you are an existing Janrain customer, please log into your application dashboard, click “Provider Configuration” under “Quick Links” and follow our step-by-step set up guide to configure Salesforce.com. Once configured, the networks can be added to your social login widget, mobile application or custom UI with a few mouse-clicks and keystrokes. “We are excited to partner with an industry leader like Janrain to make it easy for customers to use their Salesforce identity to access other websites and mobile apps,” said Chuck Mortimore, senior director, salesforce.com.
