Janrain RPX Available for Government Agencies

By Michael Olson | Posted on June 10, 2010

We are happy to announce that JanRain’s RPX is now available on Apps.gov, a site run by the GSA to help government agencies easily access SaaS applications for business, cloud IT services, productivity, and social media.

JanRain has been an advocate of the government’s stated objectives of transparency and citizen engagement and we see our third party authentication solutions as being supportive of these goals. Making it easy for citizens to login or register with government related websites by leveraging an existing identity profile will facilitate greater engagement. The growing trend of government agencies using the web to share information and receive feedback from constituents will further transparency.

JanRain is the only vendor to offer Login and Registration Tools through Apps.gov. You can find us under the Social Media Applications section.
