Today we announced some pretty big news – the close of a $15.5 million investment in Janrain. As you can imagine, we are all pretty excited. The reality is that we wouldn’t be celebrating this milestone today without the support of our customers and partners. As always, we thank you for choosing us, and continue to be humbled by the opportunity to work for and with you.

The new investment will be used to accelerate product development as well as expand the services and support we provide to our customers and partners. We will be working harder and faster to develop innovative user management and identity solutions that leverage social for user acquisition and engagement. We are absolutely thrilled that Emergence Capital is leading the round. They have funded the biggest and best SaaS companies on the planet, and that experience is invaluable.

I would also like to thank the amazing Janrain team for their daily commitment to building a company focused on customer responsiveness, technology leadership, and having fun.

To Brian, David, Gary, Samit, Santi, Tim, and Tony: Thanks for this opportunity, Janrain looks forward to working with you in the coming years.

To the engineering team: no no no, series C is when we can afford the Kegerator.
