Qype Deploys RPX to Enhance Login Experience and Increase Engagement

Today, we are very pleased to announce that Qype, Europe’s largest user-generated business ratings and reviews site, has deployed RPXto allow easy registration and sign in from Facebook, Google, Twitter, Yahoo, MySpace and Windows Live ID. By deploying RPX, Qype will benefit from increased registrations and activity on its sites while gaining a rich set of user profile data from the identity providers.Qype has embedded the RPX widget in an iframe on its site:


RPX handles all the protocols of the OpenID providers (including Google, Yahoo, AOL, MySpaceID and more) in addition to the appropriate APIs of Facebook, Twitter and Windows Live ID, enabling websites to deploy third party authentication more quickly and cost effectively than if attempting a native implementation.
