More stats to show social login gets customers through the door

Social management solutions provider Janrain has published its Consumer Perceptions of Social Login study, revealing that, yep, the tool really does play a key role in getting punters on board with brands. ‘Password fatigue’ has long been heralded as a brand engagement serial killer, with 92% of respondents to the survey saying they’d left a website during the sign up process, and with four out of five of those making past the posts giving false information in order to create an account. Which is utterly unhelpful for marketers seeking much-coveted email addresses to which they can tout their wares.
