(www.janrain.com), the leading provider of online identity technology and customer engagement services, today announced that the company has closed a $3.25 million Series A round of venture capital financing. The financing was led by DFJ Frontier with participation from RPM Ventures and Anthem Venture Partners. In connection with the financing, David Cremin, a managing director of DFJ Frontier, Tony Grover, a managing director of RPM Ventures, and Samit Varma, a partner at Anthem Venture Partners, will join JanRain’s board of directors. The funds will be used to expand the company’s product offerings for website operators and platform partners as well as to grow the company’s sales and marketing efforts.
