PORTLAND, OR (December 15, 2016) – Janrain®, the company that pioneered the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) category, today announced it has added 20-year tech veteran Bryta Schulz to its seasoned executive team.
Janrain, a founding member of the OpenID initiative, is widely credited for laying the foundation for digital identities and social login, which provide customers with secure and convenient access to their online accounts, while giving brands the deep customer insights they need to deliver unified and personalized interactions across all devices, websites and applications.
“Breakthroughs in technology are presenting unprecedented opportunities in personalized marketing and customer service,” said Jim Kaskade, CEO of Janrain. “The winners in tomorrow’s business world will be the companies that use digital identity to activate a single unified view of customer but without compromising security. Bryta has a long history of leading customers into this breakthrough ecosystem of innovative companies, making her the ideal executive to take Janrain and our clients to the next level.”
Schulz will report directly to Kaskade while overseeing all of the company’s global marketing initiatives. A senior marketing, product and go-to-market executive, Schulz has driven product adoption, revenue and shareholder value for both early stage and publicly traded enterprise, software as a service (SaaS), security and payments solution providers.
“This is a very exciting time for Janrain,” said Schulz. “As Gartner predicts the Identity and Access Management market to hit $18.30 billion by 2019, we are preparing for a tremendous growth phase fueled by the advancements being made in cloud computing, analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT) and more. Companies are starting to realize if you don’t get identity right, you’ll get your marketing wrong, and nobody has time for such costly missteps.”
After holding senior management positions at a number of global technology companies including Xerox, RSA, Symantec and Thales, Schulz most recently served as senior vice president of Marketing at Vindicia, since acquired by Amdocs, where she helped spearhead rapid growth of the sales pipeline to drive the company’s global expansion.
