December 4, 2013 — Janrain has opened its first continental European office in Frankfurt, Germany, and has appointed Thomas Balduff to fulfill the role of German Country Manager as part of its continued expansion and ongoing growth strategy in Europe.
Since opening its European headquarters in London in January 2012, Janrain has seen a UK & European growth of more than 800% and has signed contracts with international brands including Channel 4, Audi, German hypermarket giant Real part of the Metro Group and fourth largest retailer in the World, Johnston Press and The Economist.
It was this impressive first year growth as well as a number of large clients already using Janrain services in Germany, combined with increasing market interest in user management and social login, that led Janrain to open an office that will serve the German market.
Thomas joins Janrain with over 25 years’ experience as a digital professional in the entertainment and software industry, having worked for large organisations such as Oracle and Cognos. He has also worked to introduce augmented reality into the German speaking and Eastern European markets, making him an ideal candidate to help increase Janrain’s presence in Germany.
Thomas will be responsible for managing Janrain’s German presence which includes building out the sales, marketing and services infrastructure to support our growing client base
